Holiday Suit Giveaway
Brandon Novak teamed up with Sharp Dressed Man in the Holiday Suit Giveaway to help men in need prepare for job interviews. At this giveaway, free suits and haircuts were provided to men who were homeless. Throughout Brandon’s addiction and recovery, he was provided with lots of generosity and support, and he wanted to extend that to others who were also struggling. .
STAR Networking Luncheon November 2019
Banyan Treatment Centers spokesperson Brandon Novak hosted the Supporting Treatment Access and Resources (STAR) luncheon event in November 2019. There, Brandon spoke about his battle with addiction and his journey to sobriety.
The Power and Impact of Opioids: DEA 360 Event
One of Brandon Novak’s past events was the DEA 360 event in which Brandon was a keynote speaker. In October of 2019, he spoke at the Drug Enforcement Administration’s event on the opioid crisis in California. As a spokesperson for Banyan Treatment Centers, Brandon is familiar with the effects of addiction and how it can disrupt a person’s life.
South Louisiana Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness
Brandon attended the Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness in October 2019 to educate middle and high school students about the dangers of opioid addiction and substance abuse.
Rock for Recovery
Brandon attended the recovery event, Rock for Recovery, in September 2019 to advocate the importance of addiction recovery and support those recovering themselves.
